25.01.2022 A big thanks to Dukes for putting in his time & effort with the under 12 boys each week. Unfortunately they were defeated tonight 3-2. But played a wonderful game right until the end.

25.01.2022 QLD Indoor Hockey nominations are now open. Head to www.hockeyqld.com.au and click on the events tab, scroll down until you see 2020 Indoor State Team Officials and click on register, continue to follow the prompts. Nominations close August 21st 2020.

Season Starts 12th March 2021, Season ends 8th September... Our club is in desperate need of junior coaches, Please think about helping out the club and taking this on this year. 23.01.2022 What a nail biter!!!! Under 12 Semi finals for BroRoos against Colts tonight, it was such a great game to watch lots of yelling, jumping and cheering from the grandstand. Unfortunately BroRoos didnt get the win this time but they all should be super proud of their efforts tonight they all played well. Congrats to Colts

21.01.2022 Our club has been lucky enough to secure some Hot Shot Sports award from our friends at Dominos Maryborough. These awards are for the player of the week which will be picked by the coach. This weeks winner in under 12 boys is Toby Brewer. Congratulations to you!!! ... Good Luck to all our players

20.01.2022 Thats a wrap... under 6 finished off their season today. A lot of fun was had as the U6 boys and girls played their last games for the season. All players have improved their hockey skills during this shortened season and we are very proud of them. We look forward to seeing everyone next week for the MDHA junior break up party.

Jack Gregg was part of the wonderful band of workers who were responsible for the MDHA moving from Doo...n Villa to Woodstock street in the 1960s. 11.01.2022 We would like to refresh everyone on the protocol associated with return to play. As the weeks go on it is important that we remain diligent with checking in and out of the MDHA grounds on every occasion! There are QR codes around the canteen area to make this process as efficient as possible. There is also a paper register available to sign in and out of. Please do the right thing by our hockey community

07.01.2022 WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE A SOCIAL MEMBER? Follow the below information to join up.... Similarly to player registrations each season we are doing the same with our social membership. We have fortunately been given the opportunity to facilitate our own website from MDHA where our players register. For social membership the process is as follows:... 1. Access the Wallaroo Hockey Club website registrations page by following this link www.revolutionise.com.au/wallaroohockeyclub/registrations 2. Select "Register" toward the middle of the page 3. Enter in your name, date of birth and choose "Wallaroo Social Member" from the dropdown menu 4. Select "Next step" 5. Fill in the remainder of the information and read terms and conditions marking appropriate boxes 6. Select "Register now" 7. This will send across your application to our portal. Please follow this up with an email to [email protected] to notify us of your application 8. We will then take your application to our next general meeting to be passed. Once it has gone through the meeting (like all registrations do) If successful we will contact you and ask you to pay the $5.00 annual membership fee through the Treasurer Each season players are required to register online where the portal is refreshed for the next year and the process is completed again. Our plan is to follow the same process for all other membership types in our Club. This way we can stay current with who is active in our Club and are able to contact all members, via email, through the portal ensuring information is distributed to those necessary. This will help with keeping our email Distribution List up to date each year.
