21.01.2022 Dear Families, The Queensland Government’s Community Kindergarten assistance package has been announced, providing a kindergarten program for children during Term 2 at no cost to parents. In line with the Government guidelines, C&K will be prioritising Kindergarten for essential workers and those children who are experiencing vulnerability or disadvantage. Essential workers are those who are currently needing to attend work. This includes those who are working from home. Chil...dren experiencing vulnerability may be those in receipt of QKFS Plus or whose doctor or another professional has recommended that their child attend kindergarten. What this means for your family Your current enrolment for Term 2 will continue, regardless of whether your child attends. If your child does not attend during this period, your enrolment is secure, and you will have the option to return to your Kindergarten and group as before. Your teacher will be in touch with you about learning from home activities for children who do not attend Kindergarten over this period. When you decide to return to Kindergarten, we will ask you to provide us with one weeks’ notice. To help us ensure we have adequate staff, we would like to know some details about your child’s planned attendance at Kindergarten during the first five weeks of Term 2. This information will assist us in understanding your attendance needs and help us to plan for an appropriate and safe learning environment for children and a safe working environment for our staff. At Wallaville Kindy Care we also offer Limited Hours Care where with subsidies from the government some families are paying as little as $10 a day! Why not enrol your child in our Limited Hours for Term 4 to see how they like our little centre before choosing for 2021! Although we know once they start they will love it here!!

07.01.2022 Unfortunately at this time we do NOT qualify for free child care. However, we are submitting our application for CCS as soon as the site is up and running again. If we are successful payments will be backdated to the submission date and as such you will be refunded for any payments made and care will be free for LHC. Kindy is funded differently and as such still requires full payment
