25.01.2022 The Public Meeting that was to be held on Tuesday 6th December at the Wallerawang Bowling Club has been postponed until a later date as key representative are not able to attend. Please accept our apologies. Our normal monthly Wallerawang Lidsdale Progress Association meeting will be held as usual on this date instead. If you have any concerns you wish to raise with our Committee please come along and speak to us then.
24.01.2022 Wallerawang Lidsdale Progress Association Australia Day celebrations exceeded our expectations yet again and I would like to thank our local community and visitors for supporting our function. Many thanks go to our local sponsors, listed below, for once again helping out with funds and gifts to raffle which will help us to proceed with projects in our town. The wood chopping events added another dimension to our program and were appreciated by the crowd. The Mural painting was once again a hit for the children with a very colourful bird filled scene emerging. This is still on show for all to admire. The musical entertainment by Dave Webb was thoroughly enjoyed and a beautiful rendition of our National Anthem by Pat Connell was well appreciated. Our Citizen of the Year was Stephen Jackson who was chosen for his community spirit, Volunteering in sporting bodies, Wallerawang Community Sports Club and being involved in fundraising for disadvantaged people in our town. He has helped our small town provide better facilities for the community and to work towards a better future. Hope to see you at our future events. Ros Francis

23.01.2022 A big Thank You to our Community and Visitors for again supporting our endeavours to bring a little enjoyment and entertainment to our small town. We appreciate your support and hope to continue on again this year. Thank you also to all our wonderful committee and volunteers who made our New Years Eve Event another success.
22.01.2022 Wallerawang Lidsdale Progress Association monthly meeting is on the Tuesday the 4th September at 6.30 pm at the Wallerawang Community and Sports Club in McKenzie Street, Wallerawang. Come along, bring your ideas and have some input into what is happening in our town. We are always happy to welcome new people to our meetings.
19.01.2022 A Quilt Show will be held on 12th November (this Saturday) at 10:00am at St Johns Church at Wallerawang. On display will be a colourful and remarkable variety of detailed work by local quilters, and all funds raised will go towards repairing the leadlight windows in the historic church. A special selection of childrens quilts will be featured. Admittance is by a gold coin donation, and there will be a sausage sizzle and a trading table - great gift ideas for Christmas!! Please turn up and support this very worthy cause.

12.01.2022 Wallerawang Lidsdale Progress Association will be holding the Annual General Meeting on the Tuesday 1st October, 2019 at the Wallerawang Community & Sports Club. New Members most welcome. Fresh faces with new ideas for the betterment of our towns would be appreciated.
09.01.2022 MENS SHED FOR WALLERAWANG!! A meeting will be held at Wallerawang Bowling Club on Saturday 12th November (this Saturday!) at 5:00pm to form a committee to establish a Mens Shed in Wallerawang. ALL MEN WELCOME!!
