23.01.2022 A clear marquee wedding is such a beautiful and popular option.....BUT.....in our beautiful sunny state its IMPERATIVE that you work with your florist and marquee company for a temporary cover during set up. Theres absolutely no point paying for beautiful flowers (and vendors) that are going to be fried by the time you arrive at your reception A temporary white cover keeps the temp down during the day and is whipped off just prior to guests arriving so that everything... looks perfect and your vendors arent quietly suffering heat stroke! . Quarry Amphitheater is one venue that we currently cant cover, so it generally means a later bump in time so that your flowers arent hanging out in the sun = more staff for a quick turn around. 17.01.2022 What happens after the wedding? . You and your guests are free to take the flowers home to enjoy! Any hired items (such as vases, candle holders etc) are to be left at the venue for collection unless otherwise contracted. .... For installations and other big feature pieces I normally get my couples to supply a handful of buckets that I will fill with the best of whats left for you to collect the next day and enjoy! Generally, any flowers left at pack-down time must be disposed of as venues do not want anything left behind. We work all these details out at your final meeting so we have a plan of action well before the wedding day See more

15.01.2022 If flowers are important to you, then booking your florist of choice should be up there with booking your stylist/planner and venue, choosing a dress and securing your photographer. It’s strange times so we are currently booking well into the end of 2022! Normally you’d want to make contact around 9-12 months prior to your date, especially if it’s in the peak of wedding season (Oct-March) Dates book out especially fast for long weekends and auspicious dates. If the florist you wanted is unavailable always ask them for recommendations! They’ll be able to direct you to someone who has a similar aesthetic that they know will do a stirling job . #wallflowerweddings

08.01.2022 Wedding Folks Event Wednesday 11th March 2020, 7-10pm Lamonts Bishops House For the past few years I have put together an end of season event for us Wedding F...olks, to celebrate the end of another year of gorgeous weddings. But this year, its been hijacked by some of my favourite people & they have ever so generously put their time & effort into turning this into an event for me, with all proceeds going towards helping with my medical costs & loss of income during this completely unexpected journey.
