Wallsend FC Summer Football is back for another year Spring is here, and Wallsend FC would like to welcome you all back to The Gardens for Season Eleven of Wallsend FC Summer Football, kicking off November 4th 2020. The competition has hosted over 100 teams in previous seasons, and we expect it to be another big one. If you are looking to compete in this year’s competition, the following details will be... of interest to you: KICK-OFF: November 4th, 2020. SEASON END: February 4th, 2021. DURATION: 10 weeks + Finals. DAYS PLAYED: Wednesday and Thursday. GRADES: Mixed, Women’s, Men’s, Junior 13/14’s, 15/16’s, 17/18’s. MATCH FEES: $70 per Senior team, $50 for Junior team. REGISTRATION FEES: $70 Registered Senior, $100 Unregistered Senior. $40 Registered Junior, $50 Unregistered Junior. TEAM REGISTRATIONS CLOSE: October 14th, 2020. PRIZES (Gift Vouchers of your choice): $600 Winners, $200 Runners Up. Trophies and medallions for Juniors. FEES: We will be collecting the fees for the season prior to round 1, for senior teams the cost will be $700 ($70 a round for 10 rounds). For junior teams the cost will be $500 ($50 a round for 10 rounds). This means on game day you will only have to sign in and be right to play. Remember, all you need to do to reserve your team a place in the competition is to complete the registration form below. Next week, team captains will receive more information on how to register your players via PlayFootball, and how to pay your team fees. 15.01.2022 Due to significant rainfall over the weekend which has The Gardens partially under water (and more rain predicted during the week), unfortunately we again need to reschedule our Thursday night finals matches. At this stage we are looking at playing them on Sunday 23 February. Please get in touch if this date presents a major issue for any teams.

09.01.2022 Happy New Year everyone. At this stage, we are targeting Thursday 13 February as the rescheduled date to play the Thursday Night finals. This will be confirmed in the coming week.

08.01.2022 It is noted that a few teams have advised unavailability for Sunday. Given the imminent start of the Northern League One season, the only other option available is next Thursday night. Would this be more suitable to all teams?

07.01.2022 Thursday Summer Football update: Due to the weather tonight we will be playing tonight's fixtures next Thursday night. We will then play Round 1's postponed games the following Thursday. The Thursday after that will be finals night.
