25.01.2022 STATE OF PLAY: As we head into the 2nd week of our 2-day games against Wests, let's take a quick look at where we sit: 4th GRADE: Are finally getting a game today! After being washed out yet again last week we'll have 70 overs today to open the account. 3rd GRADE: Started last week bowling and fought hard at home to hold the visitors to 7/226 which is a very gettable score on Wallsend 2. Our turn to bat today. 2nd GRADE: Lost the toss and bowled at Harker Oval, we had them 1/...1!! Then it was tough going for most of the day but we clawed back to have Wests 9/252 off their 80 overs 1st GRADE: We lost the toss at home and were put in... and were dismissed for just 91. Not a great day for us as they passed our 1st innings score, but we've picked up 5/123 so the boys will be looking to wrap it up early and set up a reverse outy. Sub Districts Div 6: They unfortunately went down last week in a close one but they take on Newcastle City Cricket Club at Lewis Oval today. Sub Districts Div 1: They got washed out last week so will be keen to travel over to Connolly Oval to take on Merewether District Cricket Club today. Good luck to all 6 teams!

25.01.2022 GAME DAY! Round 6 sees us begin TWO DAY CRICKET for our grade teams today. We're up against Wests with 1st and 3rd grade at home today, while 2nds and 4ths will be at Harker and Ford Ovals. Suburban Districts Div 1 are tackling Redheäd Cricket Club down at Liles Oval, while the Div 6 boys are at home at Lewis Oval against the Adamstown Cricket Picnic Ducks. Get along to see the lads take the park in the white shirts for the first time this season (with the fancy new Lemon Grove sponsor's logo).

25.01.2022 So how are we looking going into the Christmas break?

25.01.2022 We were put into bat after losing the toss at home. Things didn't improve much after that. Pics thanks to Chris Bushell

17.01.2022 We finally had the chance to officially open the new nets at The Pleasuredome yesterday. Thanks to some great work from committee member Keith Burt and with planning and funding assistance from Cricket NSW and City of Newcastle and the NSW State Government we now have a great community asset at the home of cricket

16.01.2022 An incredible performance by Jacob Page in this mornings U/21 T20 at Lynn Oval. Chasing Stocktons 177, Pagey scored an unbeaten 130 as we chased the total 6 down with an over to spare!

13.01.2022 WEDNESDAY SPONSOR SPOT: Newcastle Master Builders Apprenticeship Schemes Newcastle Master Builders have been with us a couple of seasons already now and are such a great sponsor to have on board. They promote apprenticeships in the building industry in the local area, and our very own Jack Starr is currently benefitting from a pre-apprenticeship scholarship in Carpentry. If you're an employer, or a prospective apprentice, look no further than these guys. https://www.newcastle-mba.com.au/

07.01.2022 WEDNESDAY SPONSOR SPOT: EPIC Cricket Australia There's a million cricket products out there, but none quite like EPIC. Nige Deacon has played a few games over the years and he's the driving force behind this up and coming company. He's recently opened up a store down at Newcastle Indoor Sports Warners Bay and the gear is great stuff. You'll see plenty of the Tigers players using it.

07.01.2022 Hey Everyone, don't forget to purchase your raffle tickets for your chance to win one of THREE Toyota cars, plus plenty of other awesome prizes. You've got to be in it to win it!

06.01.2022 Well it may be a hot one today but the one good thing about playing away at Lynn Oval is that ocean breeze. We're going over there for our T/20 matches today against Stockton & Northern Districts Cricket Club . Come on over and maybe bring the togs & a towel?
