Ensure pets have access to a cool, shaded area at all times. Always offer fresh water, adding ice will help keep them cool. Providing them with a shallow pool to cool off in would be very beneficial. Avoid walking dogs during the hottest parts of the day. Keep Rabbit/Guinea pig hutches out of direct sun. On days like these deadly heat str...ess is a big danger. Symptoms include; -Rapid panting, -Bright red tongue, -Thick and sticky saliva, -Vomiting, -Dizziness and weakness, -Fitting/Seizuring. It's very important to remember on hot days like today the pavement and road can become extremely hot which can result in serverely painful burns for our dogs paws. If the pavement or road is too hot for you to stand on for 30 seconds barefoot, then please do not walk your dog on it.... If the pavement is hot, we suggest waiting for later in the afternoon when it becomes cooler or stick to the grassy patches to avoid painful burns like the one below.

02.01.2022 Every life matters! This little native Stubble Quail was recently bought to us with a wound on top of its head after it was attacked by other birds. Our team has patched her up and have given her a very trendy head bandage to keep the wound protected while it heals. He had an old injury to his shell that had healed well and was in great condition otherwise.
