24.01.2022 To our loyal customers, As the world around us continues to change, the team at Walpole IGA are committed to serving our wider community while following certain guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers and staff. We have decided to take extra measures effective immediately.... To protect the elderly and vulnerable in our community we are allocating a shopping time slot for OUR ELDERLY LOCAL RESIDENTS ONLY (Walpole, North Walpole, Crystal Springs, Tingledale,Nornalup, Bow Bridge,Peaceful Bay, Parrysville, Lake Muir, Broke Inlet, Hazelvale, Kentdale, Kordabup, William’s Bay) 7:30am - 11:30am Exceptions apply to workers in the area who are providing essential services From 11:30am until closing we will allow HOLIDAYS HOME residents, TEMPORARY RESIDENTS that have been caught with no where to go and calling Walpole home during this crisis to shop in our store. It is up to the discretion of our local community whether they choose to shop out of the allocated time we have provided for them. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause to tourists however in regards to our recent Prime Ministers statement you are asked to not travel and to return or stay at home. This is not a time to go on holidays. We need to work together during this time to protect one another. Walpole IGA Team

03.01.2022 To our loyal customers, The priority of Walpole IGA is to keep locals safe during the expanding health crisis that is affecting the nation. Stricter measures have to be implemented to achieve this. ... We have made the decision effective immediately to allow LOCAL PERMANENT RESIDENTS ONLY (Walpole, North Walpole, Crystal Springs, Tingledale,Nornalup, Bow Bridge,Peaceful Bay, Parrysville, Lake Muir, Broke Inlet, Hazelvale, Kentdale, Kordabup, William’s Bay) To shop in our store. To protect the ELDERY and VULNERABLE in our community we are still allocating a shopping time slot from 7:30am - 11:30am *Exceptions Apply If you are a tourist who has found themselves stuck in town during this time or have chosen to stay put and call Walpole home for your own health and safety we are happy to have you in our store after 11:30am, however we do require that you have been staying in town since the 11th of March. Otherwise a 14day Isolation will apply, once that period of time has passed you will be welcome in our store. Prior to this you are still able to get your grocery needs via email [email protected] or phone 9840 1031 and arrange a pickup. We are not trying to exclude anyone we are just trying to do the best we can to look after our community. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause to tourists still travelling town to town and people passing through but it is not the time for holidays and you need to go home.
