21.01.2022 || WHY US || Expertise at an independently verified cost People study law to make a difference in society, to give valuable advice and help people in need.... In the 21st century lawyers struggle to achieve this. They are bound by time sheets filled to pay unnecessary overheads such as catering staff, artwork, views of the ocean and expensive fit outs or the need to give professional staff something to do. Our firm will change that. Walpole Menzies is and will be a different legal firm. Its difference arises because we believe that: 1/ most legal problems are best solved with a small number of experienced lawyers who quickly and incisively distil your concern to the critical issue. 2/ to ensure that the lawyers are only interested in giving the most effective advice, the firm should only ever have the overheads necessary for the provision of legal services.

14.01.2022 Walpole Menzies is proud to say that it is now two years old. We now have four full time staff, and two part time staff. The key to our business is the fact that our fees are determined by other lawyers pursuant to scales of costs, laid down by the Courts. That way the clients see independence and rigour, and the staff can see if they have worked in the most efficient way possible.... Arising from the same point of difference, both staff and clients are better off. As management consultants would say, it is good internal and external fit. Most of our work is commercial disputes. If we cannot or will not do the work then we find somebody who can. In our life to date, we are most grateful to those that have referred us work, and those that have received work and done it well.
11.01.2022 Walpole Menzies remains fully operational and our staff are working from home during Stage 4 lockdowns. If you have a matter with us, our staff can be contacted directly on their office or mobile numbers which are located in the foot of their emails. If you have general enquiries or would like to leave a message, the office number will be manned and our Practice Manager, Natasha Buyck can direct your enquiries.
