25.01.2022 Torment. Get the steps built, in the centre of the wall before anything else so access to pool is good to go for the weekend. Aim to please!

24.01.2022 These old timber steps along with the rotted treated pine retaining wall all started to be removed today. Plans are to replace with cement bricks in a nice neautral colour. Probably build in some piers to fix the pool fencing to as well seeing as the original installers just banged the posts into the ground. Additionally a small cook on fire pit with a rear reflective wall. Stay tuned.

20.01.2022 Knocked over another small job yesterday. Face side is to the inside of the yard not the street. The elderly home owners had someone attend from a large handyman business and he was gonna do wonders then never got back to them. Apparently wouldn’t even answer his phone when they called!! This little block wall prevents their grandchildren accessing the road now as the original one was knocked down by previous owner and there was no physical barrier between the front lawned area and the roadway. Just remember, if you need brickwork etc done then contact a bricklayer. They actually did a trade course (in most cases) and should know their job.

19.01.2022 Oh dear, are you watching the BLOCK? Poor brickie working alone, all day long. Now into the night and it’s raining cats and dogs at 11pm and he is still going under a tarp and the Verandah roof. For $105 per hour I would be as well. Good luck .......

19.01.2022 Tidied up nice. This retaining wall was built by the owners. No experience just lots of heart. They just dug deep and had a good go at it. All I had to do was put the cherry on top for them. Maybe you have something that needs just the icing as well! Well done to these guys for a very good DIY project.
