15.01.2022 The free RQAS Art Exhibition is now open for your enjoyment. Drop in to the Kern Arcade in East Street, Rockhampton and indulge you love of art. The RQAS member...s have been busy in the past months and would just love to show you what they have produced. The Exhibition and Sales are open from 9am each day through until Sunday 9th August. Social distancing is required so there is a limit to the number of people who can be at the Exhibition at any given time. However, if you pick you time your wait will hopefully be short and you will be able to view the Exhibition at your leisure. Today the wonderful team, who regularly hang the Exhibition works, were hard at work. Here is just a small taste of what is now hanging and awaiting your viewing. Please do come along and enjoy. Twyla Tharp However, you are very lucky because you can stay local and still escape by attending the free RQAS Rockhampton Branch ART EXHIBITION being held between 20th July and 9th August, 2020. You'll find the works of wonderfully talented Rockhampton artists at the Exhibition in the Kern Arcade, East Street, Rockhampton. ... Local artists have been able to indulge their creative talents over the past few months and have been painting prolifically. Now you will have the opportunity to enjoy viewing (and hopefully buying) their impressive array of works. Winners of the Competition will be announced at 9am on Tuesday 21st July. If you are an RQAS Member, nominations for the Exhibition and Competition artworks are required by tomorrow, Monday, 13th July.
