25.01.2022 So on saturday Core developments and construction won the HIA award for best renovation in 200k division for our Floreat job! And second in 650k-1 million division for Lake Monger job very pleased with the win and cant wait to finish this job in cottesloe with same architect as Lake Monger.

24.01.2022 Finished installing the matt finish smoke colourbond shadowline panelling. First time colour has been used in australia and soon to be used for drone footage for roofing company! Halfway on timber panelling

23.01.2022 Some floor boards I repaired termite damage too and sanded and varnished with hardest polymer varnish avail. The final coat was with semi gloss. Will post final photos soon when fixing skirting boards. I must saynwas pretty pleased with final coat.

21.01.2022 A large second storey insert renovation I am doing for core developments and construction as there full time leading hand. Loving getting back into this detailed carpentry and am excited for future projects with this builder. All floor joists cut in and now for particle board flooring with having reclaimed jarrah floor boards on top and then 400 studs to build my walls and vertical jarrah timbers to clad exterior. Progress photos soon

19.01.2022 Some more progress on marine parade job with vertical colourbond cladding starting to be installed. So much work getting batterns level and flat because structural engineer thought placing three different coloum widths to a central casting plate line.....

17.01.2022 The amazing house Ive been working on for the past few weeks as well as the next doors roof top garden. Also some doors ive hung in 32mm mdf with tasmanian oak veneer and then a pencil framed around and hung once scibed and fitted. Also has a good looking negative detail with black trim set back 10mm

13.01.2022 Some progress on our latest second storey insert with 200mm solarspan roofing to be craned in next week. Call Darren at Core Developments to get us started on your next renovation!

09.01.2022 Skillion roof and 19m box gutter cut out and we then installed the kingclip system with no screws. Very clean and no risk of screws failing, so no leaks! All done under harness, which will come in handy for next part installing vertical timber lengths

08.01.2022 Some progress photos of vertical timber cladding with a new profile and new finish of a matt colourbond that looks like annodised steel!!! First time this finish has been used in WA and gloves all the way!!

03.01.2022 The start of the year was so good with this view just a level down. Beautiful negative detail on this house and started boxing in staircase. And large 1200mm wide doors

02.01.2022 Some more progress on our cottesloe job. Flashing was fun with 5 angles and cedar lining running into a negative detail underneath

02.01.2022 3.6 metre high walls weve just built which will be lined with vertical timber slats. Now to cut skillion roof to run into box gutter in the middle of the house.
