16.01.2022 2019 Christmas Cup Waltlec Industries were proud to sponsor the Palm Island Barracudas and the Christmas cup late 2019.The community haven’t had a Christmas Cup since 1997. Palm Island Barracudas def Yarrabah Seahawks 36-16 to retain the cup. Palm Island Barracudas (Womens) went down to Yarrabah Seagulls. ... There also was a traveling men’s team from Wooribinda that came up and played the Butler Bay Bulls. Bulls were too good in the curtain raiser winning 24-22. There was over 1000 people who attended this event. It was a success and the community is looking to host the event again in 2020. Well done to all involved.
