21.01.2022 The rain in October has seen many clients plant summer grazing crops. Here is a paddock of REBOUND MILLET sown 13/10/17. Rebound is quick out of the ground and has excellent growth over a short period of time. This paddock was sown at 10kg/ha

18.01.2022 Umbrella Grass with Paraquat and Balance. Soil moisture is key to a good result. Please note this is not a registered mix but is showing lots of promise. Need to be careful of following crops due to plant back restrictions with the Balance.

18.01.2022 Last Saturday Walton Rural lost a treasured staff member. Jake Walton was taken from us in a freak accident while enjoying some time with friends on the Macquarie River. Jake Walton is Walton Rural's beautiful young man full of energy and most of all integrity. His ability and maturity were immense even though he was just 20 years old. He will be sorely missed by us all here at Walton Rural and the people we service. He was Rock Solid. We will farewell Jake next Tuesday at St Brigid's Catholic Church, Brisbane St Dubbo at 11am. 14.01.2022 Benefits of using Triazines where possible in a farming system for Fleabane control. Picture taken at harvest time. Canola stubble on the right was treated with 1kg per Ha of Atrazine at sowing. Area on left of picture with Fleabane untreated. Area on left has now been controlled with Glyphosate CT/2-4D mix and double knocked 10 days later with Paraquat. On the right side - the volunteer Canola stubble controlled with Glyphosate CT/2-4 mix without the need to double knock with Paraquat

09.01.2022 Are you ready for sowing your 2018 crop? It would be a huge help to us if you could please think about your fertiliser needs and place your orders early. It is difficult to get fertiliser at short notice especially when everyone is wanting fertiliser state wide.

03.01.2022 Single pass Fleabane control - 30 days after treatment. Double knock was not required. Excellent control of all weeds with a "secret recipe". Other weeds controlled included Barnyard grass, sow thistle, prickly lettice, bindweed and melons.
