11.01.2022 Spring has definitely sprung in the Grampians and we are starting to experience some warmer weather and sunny days. Native plants, grasses and shrubs are blooming with lots of different coloured flowers to be seen throughout the rocky mountains and the WAMA site. The Grampians Thryptomene (Thryptomene calycina) is looking beautiful at this time of year and is in full bloom. Endemic to the Grampians you can find it easily throughout the region. 09.01.2022 The WAMA site is looking lovely as we head into summer after a wet spring. The native grasses and flora in the covenanted area continues to grow and flower. The black wattle tree is in full bloom and the wetlands are filling with water and everything is looking luscious and green!
