23.01.2022 The Waminda Wall Project, a community art project for young people aged 10-17 years, has now started at Waminda Community House. This week’s session times are on Wednesday and Thursday, December 16th and 17th, 2020, from 3.30-5.30pm. Further dates and times are yet to be determined to complete the art work in the new year. ... This is a great opportunity for young people to work with a street artist and help design a community art piece that will be displayed at Waminda Community House, 19 Ballantine Street, Benalla. Young people of all abilities, aged between 10-17 years, are welcome to attend. Light snacks will be provided. Free of charge.

10.01.2022 Waminda Community House will close for the holiday season, starting December 17, 2020 and re-open on Monday, February 1, 2021 at 9am. However, after a short break some services will continue to operate during this time while the house is closed. This includes- ~Immunisations - available at the house on January 4, 2021, from 12.45pm to 1.30pm. ... ~Grow Mental Wellness program - please contact 1800558268 for holiday session times. It is anticipated that all other Waminda programs and courses will resume in Term 1. This is a great opportunity for young people to work with street artist Kate Van Nooten, and help design a community art piece that will be displayed at Waminda Community House, 19 Ballintine Street, Benalla. Previous attendees are encouraged to return to complete their artwork and new participants are invited to attend...it’s not too late to join in Light snacks will be provided. 03.01.2022 Big thumbs up for a young lady in Benalla West who helped my elderly Mum when her scooter broke down on her way to Clarke St shopping. Thumbs up to her Dad too who picked up Mum's scooter & took it home for her. You are both wonderful beyond words. May it come back to you tenfold!
