25.01.2022 Good stuff fellas!
25.01.2022 The women’s water carrier needed a stretch and rest. Mind you this was his 3rd game today. Great work Mitchell.
24.01.2022 This weekend marks the Nungalinya Cup game between the mighty Muk Muks and Darwin Buffaloes Football Club This game is to acknowledge and celebrate Larrakia culture, Larrakia country and the two clubs long exisiting connection to the Larrakia families over the last 100 that NTFL has been played on Larrakia Country. Wanderers and the Darwin Buffaloes will play for the Nungalinya Cup on Saturday night at 7:30pm at TIO Stadium. ... The term ‘Nungalinya’ is the place where the Larrakia spirit comes from the earth and goes into mothers’ bellies and life for the Larrakia commences. It is described as the beginning and the end, where the spirit returns after life. The clubs have been granted permission to use the term as they hold important connections to Larrakia country. Happy NAIDOC week and we hope to see the Muk Muks and Buffs faithful at TIO Saturday night for the top of the table clash between these two strong and proud local teams! 22.01.2022 If you doubt this blokes commitment to the club, this photo says it all and he kicked the winning goal last night. Happy birthday Batesy.

21.01.2022 U12 Blue update. Its getting real! A huge thanks to Huia Haerewa one of our premier league players for coming down and helping out it is great to have the suppo...rt. For those of you who are not aware. The U12 Blue team this year will be comprised entirely from committed and determined girl players. We have had 18 individual girls turn up (so please register so you don't miss out as we can only have 20 players, who would have thought we would be asking this?) to training with good numbers during the holiday period we had 15 yesterday with 3 notified absences. This is also no tokenistic gesture. It is being fuelled by the girls, their numbers and their desire to be in an all girls side. What's even better is they can play footy there are no shrinking violets among this mob. Their determination to improve will ensure positive development through out the season and with the support of parents, senior players and the club this concept will be a huge success. Something we hope puts pressure on the competition and other clubs to try that little bit harder for earlier development opportunities for girls in the sport. So watch this space its going to be a fun journey. Muk Muks do it first and do it better ! I promise to take some pictures so we can record this #thesegirlscan #thesegirlswill #minimukmuks #mukmukway See more

19.01.2022 Full Time Men’s Premier League: Wanderers FC Darwin 14.5.89 defeated Darwin Buffaloes Football Club 5.9.39. A lively and passionate winners’ song from Wanderers... tonight after their solid win against the Buffs. Wanderers’ Dane McFarlane started the second half off with a bang after picking up the ball from the edge of the square on the defensive side, then running the length of the ground through to kick a goal from 40 metres out. Eddie Simpson followed suit thumping his first goal in the NTFL. Jarrod Stokes responded for the Buffs with some quick side steps followed by his second major. Mitchell Taylor soccered the ball across the goal face on the right boundary where Dray Thompson scooped it up with one hand to kick a freak goal. Brett Eddy kept the fire burning with his fourth, taking Wanderers to a 55-point lead. Both sides struggled to score for the remainder of the quarter, only kicking behinds. Brydan Hodgson soared like an eagle 20 seconds before the siren and almost took mark of the season but instead fell on top of Eddy which didn’t do much damage as the Eagles still led by 52. The Buffaloes played better in the final term, but Wanderers didn’t let them get too far. The Buffaloes had a chance at goal in the first five minutes then again at the seven minute mark, however missed both opportunities. The Buffaloes worked well getting the ball inside their 50 but Wanderers young gun Ronald Fejo did plenty of work to send it out the other way. The Buffs’ efforts soon paid off with Dylan Gordon scoring off a mark from Aaron Stokes. Bretty Eddy sealed the deal for Wanders kicking his fifth on the siren to win the Muk Muks the Nungalinya Cup in its second year for Indigenous Round at TIO Stadium. #territoryfooty
18.01.2022 Final score, great win. Eddy got 9, Bates 6, Mannagh 5, great team win. Ed Edward Simpson Jr. handed off a heap inside 50. #mukmuks
