22.01.2022 Hi all, I entered my car in the Shannon's Show and Shine competition. They select the car with the most votes as a category winner. If you can support me with your vote, I would appreciate it. Go to this link and vote for my Hot Rod, I thank you for your support. https://www.shannons.com.au//show-n-shine/submit/confirm/

20.01.2022 Hello, As you are aware, cars, music, fashion and dancing go together from the early fifties and right through to today. We are now accepting expressions of interest from people interested in learning how to dance 50's and 60's style Rock & Roll. The lessons are for 1 hour on a Thursday night at Dernancourt from 8pm to 9pm. The cost is $15 per person, per lesson. Please email me at [email protected] with your details so we can arrange for you to be invited to attend. All club members have a free introductory offer to attend.

08.01.2022 2019 Lions Gumeracha Show & Shine Report The 8th year of this event proved again to be successful with a large number of never entered before cars and motorcycles. The weather was excellent with a top of 23 degrees. The day officially commenced at 11am wit h the 101 year anniversary of the Armistice. We recognized the fallen from our clubs.... The Lincolns provided top rate dance music which had the dance floor filled to capacity at all times. After paying for minimal expenses to stage the event we were left with $2300 which we donated to Camp Quality, our 2019 beneficiary. The Lions clubs of Golden Grove and Torrens Valley catered for the food and drink. Coffee and Ice Cream vans were onsite as well. Without the support of our sponsors, putting on a show like this would be impossible and my gratitude goes to Shannon’s Insurance, Adelaide Car Valuations, Marque Restorations, Vili’s Family Bakery, The Wanderer’s Rock & Roll Car Club, Cruizin' Magazine, Bob Jane Modbury, Auto One Clovercrest, Meguiars, and Wheel Masters. Finally, I have to say a big thank you to the entrants. Without entrants you don't have a show. This year saw a lot of new cars and bikes. We thank you for your support and attendance. Yours faithfully, PDG Peter Panagaris Event Co-ordinator peterpan@ bigpond.net.au
