25.01.2022 Exciting times approaching We are going to be holding our first workshop very soon. It is going to be an introduction to winter remedies, we will look at a number of herbs which are particularly good to have at this time of year, discuss some ways to incorporate them and we will make a couple of potions to help you through the ailments of winter. The focus of this workshop is to make it super easy for you to be able to access ingredients and learn simple practices.

17.01.2022 So it would seem that I have launched my business it comprises three elements of my life; herbal lore & health, fire twirling & teaching, travel & horses. How do all these things fit into the one? Well, that has taken me some time to figure out myself. It all came together the other day while driving into town. I was coming into Campbells Creek wondering how I could find only two, perhaps three words which could hold the enormity of the essence of what I wanted to create, wh...en a memory of lying on the floor in the lounge room gazing up at a painting a friend had done of the earth with the word earth repeated around the sphere, the words had no beginning nor end; sometimes heart, sometimes hearth and sometimes earth. I was approaching the pub corner as it dawned on me that it was the central word I had been searching for. The word ‘hearth’ was going to be in my name. It was perfect. It is the embodiment and central core of home. It is where the fire is contained. And within the word itself is contained ‘earth’ which is the foundation for all life and inspiration, and ‘heart’ our own rhythm and connection to life itself. I knew it wasn’t quite complete but what a start. Throughout the day I let it swish around within me and later that evening I added it to my list of perspective names, underneath Wandering Remedies. And there it was the missing bit, the component of travel and stepping outside the box, of constant movement and growth. And furthermore, in the synergy of the two words together, there comes a searching, and a knowing, and a deep solidity glued within. And thus, Wandering Hearth was born
