The Australian music scene is in a bit of a pickle atm, but Vin said something last night that offered a glimmer of hope As we slowly come out of lockdown & the music scene starts kicking again, Australia is going to be one of the main focus points for musically minded people all over the globe, and we’ve got one hell of an opportunity to show them that the Aus music scene is the best it’s ever been. So get to a gig, buy a record, share a post, leave a review, get behind your creative mates etc..it’s up to all of us, cause the gov sure doesn’t care about the arts.. If I was in government I would be asking @coffin_aus to play @eurovision - fuck shit up in Europe & then leave without accepting the award they’re no doubt to win...it would be a hit. Many people in the arts are doing it especially tough during this lock down, so if you are able to, support your favourite bands financially, buy a new shirt not only does it support the bands, but artist, designer, printer & retailer.... We do our darnest to support the industry all year round through our shop and our NFP Car Hole Productions & it fills us with pride being a tiny piece in the puzzle. We’re still rocking our reduced hours in store * *Thu & Fri 10-4 - Sat & Sun 10-3** & are gonna continue that for the rest of the year, cause a 4 day week is the least 2020 owes us We’ve been super lucky to have y’all support us throughout the year & we’re extremely grateful We prob say it a lot, but if you ever need anything we’ll be here for you too - just pop in, we’ll make you a top notch instant coffee & go from there.
