25.01.2022 To add to the S tour of Northern tassie we stayed on Sheffield. Decided to check out a country pub. Very clean and comfortable. Ate at the Chinese restaurant Ts they farm their own produce. Try it next time you are visiting the town of murals and mosaics. Don't forget to pop into Slater's and delve into a little local history. To finish the S tour we visited the strawberry farm at hillwood . Pick your own berries, ice cream, milkshakes and iced coffee all refreshing. Do the S tour soon

24.01.2022 Arrive at corrina and catch the fat man barge. Dodge the fallen trees wallabies and safely arrive at Tullah lakeside lodge. West coast is living up to its reputation sun rain little wind, changes every five minutes and friendly people to welcome you.

24.01.2022 Wandered along the waterfront to the IXL building and splurged on a cocktail at the long bar.

23.01.2022 Wandered off again. Visiting Smithton and Stanley today. Collected a couple of fresh crayfish from Hurseys. Can't wait to eat them

18.01.2022 Attended the centenary of the King Island school today they buried a time capsule near the school museum. Should be an interesting one to dig up in 50 years.

17.01.2022 Went off wandering again this week. Down the middle,but there are signs now saying it's the Heartlands. Ross was so busy on Monday,only one bakery cafe open and a que a mile long. Ended up at Oatlands, just one cafe open there too. Checked out the new distillery being built.

16.01.2022 The walk to waldheim was very cool. But accompanied by a wombat made it bearable. Wander through the ballroom next time you are there

13.01.2022 The wild west is living up to its name today weather changes every hour When you get the chance you should visit Arthur River and do the river cruise on the George Robinson.

03.01.2022 We really enjoyed our time on King Island. The people were very friendly, helpful and ready for a chat. Played barefoot bowls and they were very welcoming.

03.01.2022 Stayed at Hobart's newest hotel. Very nice upgraded to the king suite . Attentive staff all eager to please. Meals excellent in the restaurant too. Convenient location in Elizabeth St.
