The greater glider is a possum-sized marsupial living in the forests of eastern Australia, squeezing into tree hollows during the day and at night soaring up to 100 metres through the air searching for its favourite eucalyptus leaves. Depending on the time of year you visit, you can expect to see yellow, green, orange, and the colour also changes at different times of the day with the suns direction. If you can catch it at sunrise, you'll see these colours in all their glory. A contrast to the scenery of Hyden surrounding it, this makes for an amazing photo opportunity and a must-stop location when travelling through the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia.
