22.01.2022 We all know video is king when it comes to content forms, but the way we consume it has changed throughout varying stages of lockdown around the world. A recent Think with Google article said there were three most notable trends when it came to how people were You Tube during lockdown. 1 Educating at home. As parents had to suddenly home-school, they turned to You Tube to help educate their kids. From lesson plans and science experiments to kids’ yoga and books read by cel...ebrities; modern parents turned to online video content to help them manage remote learning through the pandemic. 2 Replicating experiences that aren’t currently available at home. From how to make barista style coffee to how to cut your own hair, with lots of cooking tutorials thrown in for good measure people were trying to fill the holes left in their normal lives through digital means. 3 Upskilling. Many people used this time to learn something new. Whether that was a new skill to progress their career or to retrain if they’d lost their jobs due to the pandemic, or just learning a new hobby like playing the guitar or how to make the perfect sourdough. As many countries still fluctuate in and out of lockdown, it's a good time to think about how your brand may be able to provide useful video content during these times when more people are at home. It’s a great chance to provide something that will help someone and in turn, align them with your brand. As with all content creation remember to be informative, helpful, entertaining or useful. People are more stressed, worried and anxious than ever before, so let’s not add to the noise with content that confuses or takes advantage of that. Now’s the time to really think about how your business can cut through and offer your ideal customer something really special. You can read the full article here. https://tinyurl.com/y3ejbydb

08.01.2022 There are so many synergies between our clients, and having a focus on tourism means things often overlap. This is the case here, in the latest Pod Well Travelled podcast by the travel team at The West Australian. This episode covers the incredible artwork that features on the side of The Ghan as part of the Parrtjima Australia Festival In Light and the beautiful Gwoonwardu Mia Cultural Centre in Carnarvon.... We launched the announcement of this incredible moving artwork across social media for our client Journey Beyond, who worked with Tourism NT and the Parrtjima Festival to bring this incredible idea to life. We also work closely with the team at Gwoonwardu Mia, having created their marketing strategy and setting up this media famil with The West. It's a happy coincidence they both feature on this weeks pod - and a great listen! https://thewest.com.au//dancing-in-the-light-parrtjima-gwo

02.01.2022 What makes good social media content? Powerful social media content consists of images, videos and text that make a big impact - this desired impact will depend on the objectives of your business, but may include creating widespread awareness of your brand’s messaging, or growing your community. The most important thing is that this content speaks and connects to your target market, so much so they feel the need to comment, save and share the post; it is so powerful that it m...oves them to action. Great article here about how to create stand-out content! https://www.thedrum.com//what-the-most-powerful-content-so
