24.01.2022 Create Change. Be The Change Whether your goal is fat loss or muscle gain; know it is a slow process. It is something that takes time and unless you learn to love the process or the now you probably wont last. You will only regress as quick as you progressed. Learning to love the now will help you for longevity.. 1 Turn your focus away from the end goal; focus on what you do day to day - what you do daily matters the most and leads to long term success.. .... 2 Immerse yourself into the process, put actions in place that align with the end result and start ticking off the daily checklist boxes. 3 Take one day at a time, have a target to hit for the day whether that be your water intake, vegetable intake or your protein intake; look at nailing it and repeat it every dam day with slowly adding another target.. 4 Become more disciplined instead of disciplining yourself... Dont play victim, feeling sorry for yourself and blaming the past for who you are today, projecting negative thoughts against yourself and others around you, is a true sign you need a change.. Challenge yourself and stay accountable. Wake up every day with a list of goals to check off daily.. 20.01.2022 STRESS EATING Are you a stress eater? When youre overwhelmed or stress or procrastinating, do you turn to your reliable friend, food? You have a couple of chips and before you know it, you are pouring the last few crumbs from the bag into your mouth. Does this sound like you? .... If fat loss is your goal or just maintaining your hard earned physique, eating ABSOLUTELY cannot be your coping mechanism. If you want long lasting results and to stop sabotaging your fat loss, you need have control of your habits and response to stress. . Food is non-negotiable. We have to eat to survive, so it is a valid form of self-care but if we dont have anything else to reach for to deal with our emotions, then its time we figure out what else we can do to cope. . Few tips on managing stress: 3 Balanced meals a day with Protein, fats and carbs. Make sure your portions are filling.. Get outside and get in touch with nature. Go for a walk - stay active. Have a drink Water, tea or coffee. Meditate or breathing techniques.. Journaling.. Reading .. Listen to a podcast.. Talk to a friend or family.. Listen to music.. Have a nap..
