21.01.2022 Final call to all Wandoan Community Groups, Clubs, Schools, Individuals, Businesses, Families ......... to think about how they can join in and make this the best Christmas Carni ever. Stall holders require their own Public Liability Insurance. Contact the Secretary: 0448 274 387 with your ideas. Attendance will be restricted to 1000 persons and will be limited to local residents only.

19.01.2022 See the BEST OF THE BEST in action Saturday 28 November at the Wandoan Showgrounds and in conjunction with the Wandoan Community Christmas Carnival . Wandoan APRA affiliated Saddle Bronc and Bareback Bronc school featuring 4 x Australian Champion Bareback Rider Dave Worsfold, Australian Champion Saddle Bronc Rider Cameron Webster and world class pick up men & stock contractors. They are ALL local heroes and exceptionally good at their craft. Teaching school throughout the day. Watch up to 30 students learn from these professionals, then test your own skills later on the Mechanical Bull.

To keep everyone safe and happy we are using the Terms and Conditions of the Howl at the Moon event that will take place at the Wandoan Show 2021. 02.01.2022 Wandoan Show & Wandoan Lions Club says THANK YOU for making the 2020 Community Christmas Carnival such an amazing party. We hope all the stall holders and clubs and groups were well patronised and I'm fairly sure all the foodie vans were very happy. Volunteers, you know who you are, you make events like this happen, especially the Shell/QGC team on the , Trevor Robertson from Senex behind the bar and the many, many locals & visitors who put their hands up to help, we co...uld not have done this without you. Thank you to our local Policeman Ben for keeping us safe. Thank you WDRC for having the grounds ready and for sponsoring the fabulous Joseph Maloney, Sterling & Wilson helping on the gate & joining with Palmers donating the Courtesy , ISS & Sterling & Wilson for cleaning services and MPC Kinetic for the donation to the kids. Thanks also to Rod Harth for doing that little job for us at such short notice. To everyone who attended, thanks for joining in and adding to the spirit of the occasion. Yes, some things didn't quite run to plan, or on time, and Santa really could been instructed to make it a bit earlier, at least he found the Showgrounds eventually.
