21.01.2022 Get paid for contributing to your community’s future! Most community organisations rely on volunteer office bearers for their success. So, it’s not often in Wan...doan and district that such roles comes along for which you will be paid. Following the retirement of Margarette Sinnamon, the Wandoan Community Commerce & Industry Board is seeking applications for the roles of Secretary and Treasurer. Each role is part-time (approx. 2 hours per week), could be combined for the right candidate, and are based out of the Wandoan Surf Club with flexible working conditions. The successful applicant(s) will be joining a small team whose members are passionate about supporting the WCCI’s objectives and promoting a bright future for our small town and its surrounding big country. 20.01.2022 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING followed by General Meeting 5 pm Thursday 8th October Wandoan Surf Club Royd Street... Wandoan The positions of Secretary and Treasurer will be vacant and need to be filled at the A.G.M. The future of the Wandoan Surf Club and the Window on Wandoan will depend on having both these positions filled. Both positions receive a quarterly remuneration. A laptop is provided for each position and all office supplies and phone and internet access is provided through the Wandoan Surf Club. Become a part of this dedicated not for profit organisation supporting the greater Wandoan community. The W.C.C.I. works with and meets regularly with W.D.R.C. staff and councilors and key stake holders in the region encouraging positive and productive dialogue promoting and supporting Wandoan businesses and organisations. The W.C.C.I. are always looking for and encouraging avenues and ideas to ensure that Wandoan and the region are foremost in council planning. Each role is part-time (approx. 2 hours per week), could be combined for the right candidate, and are based out of the Wandoan Surf Club with flexible working conditions.
