23.01.2022 A flood warning has been issued for Wangaratta, Byawatha, Peechelba, Markwood, Everton, Carboor, Moyhu and surrounding areas including the Hume Freeway. VICSES ...and emergency service partners are responding to a number of vehicles trapped in floodwater on the Hume Freeway at Byawatha, near Wangaratta. Two relief centres have been set up in Wangaratta at H.P Barr Reserve, Shilling Drive and Chiltern Memorial Hall. A Flood Watch has been issued for Greater Melbourne, West and South Gippsland and parts of Northern and South West Victoria.

15.01.2022 Plastic Free July - successful day in Woolies promoting reusable cloth produce bags. Woolies kindly gave us permission to hold a stall inside their store in Wan...garatta last Friday July 19, to promote for Plastic Free July the use of reusable, washable fruit & veggie bags. The ladies from Boomerang Bags had been busy sewing them & well over 100 were sold, and many positive conversations had with shoppers with Ann Brain, MaryAnn Sargent & Donna Hutchinson. As this was such a success we hope to do it again.

01.01.2022 A few shots from Run Melbourne this morning. It was great to be part of an initiative which both raises money for cancer and gets Victorians moving. I think the...re were over 20k people involved. Being healthy and looking after ourselves is the best chance we have of avoiding cancer. Cancer in many cases (not all) is a disease of toxicity and/or inflammation. Was also great to see one of our clients Ben at the start line too.
