15.01.2022 After a year of many interruptions we want our students to be focused on their learning for the weeks ahead. Parents and carers, we want your support to ensure that our students are getting some clear and simple messages. Firstly, face masks are still required by all students at school. These must be worn inside at all times but can be taken off when outside and physically distancing.... Our second one, mobile phones need to be left at home or stored securely in a students locker during the school day. Thank you in anticipation of your support, that will allow our teachers to focus on learning catch up and extension for the weeks ahead.

09.01.2022 REMEMBRANCE DAY 2020. On 11 November 1918, the guns of the Western Front fell silent after four years of continuous warfare. With their armies retreating and close to collapse, German leaders signed an Armistice, bringing to an end the First World War. In the four years of the war more than 330,000 Australians had served overseas, and more than 60,000 of them had died. The social effects of these losses cast a long shadow over the postwar decades.... Today, on Remembrance Day, our staff and students at Wangaratta High School observed one minute’s silence, in memory of those who served, died or suffered in all wars and armed conflicts.
