11.01.2022 Arche Health has been awarded the ‘Lead Agency’ role of the Cannington headspace Centre. During the development of headspace Cannington, we will be designing ma...ny aspects of the services, and of the establishment, with and around young people. Therefore, within this process, we hope to gain more understanding of mental health in our youth, in the areas in which headspace centre will service. After careful consideration following preliminary feasibility study, we have identified a suitable site among 2-3 options that we have short listed to begin concept design. In line with the City of Canning Standards of Provision: community service buildings like youth service centres are accessible via public transport or non-vehicular transport and that they are designed and fitted out to be comfortable and safe for young people to use. The property that’s shortlisted is located on 1468 Albany Highway, Cannington. We want to hear from people aged between 12-25 years, so we can better identify what would work well, and where the gaps lie, in regard to accessing mental health and well-being. We’re excited to move into the next phase and encourage passionate young people to get involved. If you are aged 12-25 years please fill out this survey and help us support the design of the centre. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2SKZSSM
