24.01.2022 Congratulations to Paul Gilmore, Russell Patterson and Lenny Ball in taking out the Tom Ramage shield. Was a great turn out and a successful day even when working in the boundaries of COVID restrictions.

24.01.2022 Friday night antics... tonight ranged from everything resembling Bondi Vet to Graham looking like he was doing the Haka...... or maybe he was excited for the Hamburgers at the end. Again many thanks go to the people who make it happen. Thanks Mr Fryer for all the wonderful seafood. Thanks Adrian, Alan and Brian for helping me. The kitchen Ladies Ann and Brenda... who are also clean up crew. ... Big thanks to Wayne for cooking the burgers Brenda and I supplied. Fridays are proving to be successful so would be great to see this continue. Winners tonight ..... Team Boots! (Sorry I don’t have the cards ... and I think they said us n them anyways ) Thanks again Karen for serving the Bevvies Well done everyone.

23.01.2022 1st round winners in the Mixed Triples! Looking forward to watching next Sunday’s matches I have to say a big thank you to my team mates, Skip Barbara Kemlo and my cousin Wayne Durston. Also a thanks to our opposition Barry Wade Snr and Donna and Carl Milne, for making that one of the most enjoyable games I have played. ... Lovely to see that good sportsmanship still exists.

23.01.2022 Friday night bowls - awesome turnout. 30 players. Thanks all for coming and supporting. The usual thanks to Adrian, Alan and Brian. Thanks to Karen behind the bar and the ladies on the Kitchen. ... I would also like to make a mention of thanks to the ladies that provide us all with the salad or hamburger patties etc. This is out of their own pockets in support of this night and our bowling club. Just a small request - it would be good to get a few new faces helping with the clean up, which is a quick kitchen tidy and some washing up. Cheers to the winners Next week get your Christmas spirit out and come dressed in your Christmas best. Anything goes - there is a prize for best dressed for the next two Fridays

17.01.2022 Return of friday night bowls! Lots of fun and laughs! Some good bowls and some bad bowls.... Some shots that were just out of this Galaxy and made the rest of us look like mere mortals! Winners John Dawson and Di Barlow. Runners up - Tracey Dawson and Chris Beer! ... Thanks again Adrian for cooking the sausages, and Ann, Wendy and Brenda for helping me assemble the sangas! Ann, Brenda and Wendy. I would also like to acknowledge the bar staff Helen, Karen and Jo who do a great job every time. To the behind the scenes people who set up the greens and pack up. To the members who promote and organise the draw. To Peter Metcalf and a select few members who water the greens and do the ground maintence.... they all play a role of bringing events like this together. Thank you for the time you give. It is so very appreciated

13.01.2022 Lots of walking... Mixed Pairs Finals! What a match! I had to duck off to get my son to work and it was not looking good for Team Snowden .... Team Wade seemed to be quite a bit in front. I returned to a 19 all score and witnessing Team Snowden winning by 1 shot! Who says this game is boring! Sometimes it seems brutal! Put a good one down .... lasts 5 seconds! 01.01.2022 Women’s Tuesday - first day back. Most of us could tell we were a little rusty.... but we honed our bowling finesse by the end. Was a hot one! We enjoyed the activity but gee the club was nice and cool at the end! Good to be back
