24.01.2022 Another scorcher on Friday - let's cool down with some more icy poles!

24.01.2022 We will be raising money for our Hands On Learning team on Wednesday 11th November. Money raised will help complete current projects and replenish supplies in preparation for the 2021 crew. Please come along in casual clothes and bring a gold coin donation.

18.01.2022 NAIDOC Week is a significant event in the Australian calendar, and an especially important one for many Indigenous communities around the country. It is a week to celebrate our culture and heritage, commemorate our history, unify our communities, and to share with the rest of the nation. We’ll be celebrating NAIDOC Week in the West by participating in a range of activities supported by our Mundgee Group leader, Bree.

17.01.2022 Today our grade 6 students began the process of creating their mosaic artworks. Students worked with local artist Angie Dickinson who helped our Mundgee Group last year complete their mosaics. Each of the artworks will be displayed around the school when completed - don't they look unreal!... A big thank you to Bree for helping facilitate this amazing project, Angie for your time and expertise and Mrs Hedderman for allowing your science room to be turned into a pseudo art room!

13.01.2022 Values Blitz This week in the West we are focusing on RESPECT! All across the school, we will be looking for people to understand what respect looks like, feels like and sounds like and of course demonstrate lots of respectful behavior in the class and the yard. Individuals and classes that display exemplary respectful behavior will receive RESPECT wristbands and icy poles!
