23.01.2022 PERTH SCORCHERS SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAMS The Perth Scorchers will hosting 2 x full day Woolworths Cricket Blast Holiday programs at the WACA Ground on Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th January 2021. Boys and girls aged 5-11 welcome and they don’t need to be registered as Blasters. Sessions will run from 9am to 3pm.... Cost is $110 for the day and the Registration link is below. 15.01.2022 WJCC would like to congratulate Aymie Haddrill and Tahlia Lupton on their selection into the Wanneroo Districts Cricket Club girl’s squad. Both girls have been playing junior cricket here for a few years and it is great to see their hard work and dedication pay off. Enjoy this time girls and make the most of all the opportunities which will come your way. The club is very proud of you and we look forward to seeing you both continue to develop into outstanding young cricketers. We have no doubt that we will have many more of our female members come through and achieve similar success in the coming seasons. Cricket really is no longer just a ‘boy’s sport’ so to any other girls out there thinking of playing, get involved, you won’t regret it

Programs will run as normal, commencing at 530pm. ... 06.01.2022 JUNIOR PLAYER FEES & CLOTHING INFO An email will be sent to all our U10-U17 Junior team members. The clubrooms will be open Wednesday October 7th and Monday October 12th, from 5.00-7.00pm, for any junior members who would like to come down and pay fees or sort clothing for the upcoming season. 06.01.2022 Hi all, Cricket Associations of all levels (juniors to state players) from around Australia will be this year partaking in NAIDOC week (running 8th 15th Nov) with our upcoming fixtures this weekend being a Reconciliation Round. All games this weekend (incl. Junior and Master Blasters on Friday evening) will hold a Barefoot Ceremony before the game where a Reconciliation Statement will be read out. ... Your coaches / managers will have further details for you on the day. It would be appreciated if you could talk to your kids about the importance and impact of this initiative prior to game day to assist with their understanding of why we hold this ceremony. Updated lists will be up on the board outside the clubrooms please check these for your Childs team placement....
