She’s a computer wizz who loves cheese. To the right is Tina who is currently studying to become a Dental Assistant. She works in our steri room making sure all the instruments are processed and sterilised to the highest standards. Tina hails from the Emerald Isle and loves yoga. #teamwork #workfamily

19.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE The WA Government has relaxed some of the restrictions that we have been under during the weekend. We have been advised by the ADA the restrictions on dental procedures remain at Level 3. During Level 3 restrictions we can only provide emergency treatment. ... Wanneroo Dental Centre will only treat dental emergencies until close of business on Friday - after this - all being well, we will resume normal care. We will continue as we always have to care for our patients in pain. We have already been in contact with tomorrows patients and we will be calling everyone else tommorrow. Thanks as always for your support

14.01.2022 There are lots of great initiatives coming out of a terrible situation. To help vulnerable people and those that choose to stay at home- the milko delivery is back on ! good on Brownes !

14.01.2022 What does Dr Bev do on her day off? Drop water samples for analysis that’s what. Maintaining the quality of the water that comes through our equipment is just one of the things we do to ensure the highest of standards in cross infection control.

12.01.2022 The most common cause of tooth discolouration are from pigments from food and drinks with the most common cause being coffee, tea, red wine and smoking. At Wanneroo Dental Centre we use the Boutique whitening system. Boutique Whitening will take care of brightening your smile by gently and effortlessly dissolving the stain! Moulds are taken and trays are made to fit exactly to the shape of your teeth to ensure the gel stays exactly where it is designed to go. Within 7-14 days years of staining will dissolve away. Give us a call on 94053122 to organise a consultation to discuss if Boutique Whitening is suitable for you!

10.01.2022 Seeing as 66.66% of our dentists hail from Yorkshire we thought we’d say eh up Happy Yorkshire Day

10.01.2022 On a cold wet windy day like today- in the current situation- its worth remembering those who are not as lucky as us to be staying at home indoors. We just dropped off a gazillion oral B toothpaste samples to Perth Homeless Support Group. They have started accepting donations again and are currently in the process of distributing winter coats and care packs. www.perthhomeless.org.au

10.01.2022 We had a happy wee boy today picking up his Bonny mouthguard

09.01.2022 A lovely card from one of our patients - it made our day

09.01.2022 THANKYOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE! WE ARE BACK TO LEVEL 2 RESTRICTIONS AS FROM TUESDAY 28th APRIL WHICH MEANS WE CAN DO MORE DENTISTRY! We are still working under certain restrictions, specifically regarding producing aerosol ( a mix of air and water) but it means we can see you for: - examinations... - assessment of problems - x rays - Some fillings - simple extrations - dentures - hand scaling (the ultrasonic cleaning which is the more thorough method is still not allowed) As an accredited practice we ensure high standards of infection control at all times to keep everyone safe. We will be screening all patients and staff for signs of being unwell including taking temperatures. We will ask you politely to wait in your car until your appointment time and we will spread out appointments to ensure social distancing. We look forward to seeing you all soon, starting fromTuesday - a return to partial normality- it’s a start Call us on 94053122 if you would like to make an appointment- and for those people who we had to postpone appointments we will contact you all in due course.

08.01.2022 To our valued patients In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, all dentistry in Australia is currently at level 3 restrictions, limiting us to treating urgent problems and carrying out emergency procedures only. This is in accordance with the recommendations released by the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and is mandated by our national regulatory bodies. Essentially this means we are only able to treat patients for relief of dental pain, infection, swelling and facial ...trauma. It is distressing for us to not be able to see our patients for their routine care, or to help with non-emergency treatment, and we share your frustration in the prolonging of treatment already started. Our phone lines will remain open for your questions and concerns from 10am to 3pm daily. If you are experiencing pain or have a dental emergency, please call us on: 94053122 We do have some emergency appointments available Mon - Fri. You can also chat with us online via Facebook if you have any questions . We would like to say thank you to our amazing patients, especially those we’ve had to reschedule, for your understanding of the situation and the kindness you have shown our staff in these strange and uncertain times. We also want to say a huge thank you to our team. During a very stressful and uncertain period, they have shown us nothing but support and we can’t thank them enough.Their hard work in the last few weeks has been outstanding. We hope you and your family are staying safe and well in this crazy time, enjoying some quiet time together, and we look forward to sharing a laugh with you all as soon as things return to normal! David, Bev And Carmen.

08.01.2022 In these uncertain times- and afterwards- let’s all make a commitment to spend our hard earned money with small locally owned business’s. We’re doing our bit by enjoying a lovely coffee from xcite in Wanneroo whilst we triage our emergency patients today. #stayathome #thistooshallpass

08.01.2022 Can you spot who the patient is? This is Dr Carmen with her very cooperative patient Dr Bev We are operating under level 2 restrictions which means we have to limit the creation of aerosol (water mixed with air) If you need any fillings done whilst we are under these restrictions we will place a rubber dam A rubber dam is a protective sheet with a hole that a dentist positions over a tooth during a procedure. Most patients actually prefer treatment being done under rubber dam as you don’t have to worry about the water We are currently contacting our patients whose appointments had to be previously postponed to let you know if it is suitable for your treatment to be carried out under rubber dam.

08.01.2022 Last night we went on a small bar walking tour led by Two Feet and a Heartbeat Don’t we all look different

08.01.2022 Dr Carmen received some beautiful flowers today from a patient to thank her for her care. We love having her as part of our team and for the hard work and care she gives every day

06.01.2022 IMPORTANT MESSAGE: As from tonight 26/3/20 The Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC) has instructed that all dental practices adhere to Level 3 restrictions prohibiting the use of aerosols. This, in simple terms, means that we cannot use any of our handpieces unless there is severe pain. We are so saddened by this whole situation. Rest assured if you have a dental emergency please call us - we WILL be here to give you advice and direct you to the correct place for treatment that is deemed necessary. We are also here for anyone who needs anything, even just a chat. We will all get through this and we look forward to seeing after this has all finished

05.01.2022 Do you need pixters??? Give us a call on: 94053123 and we’d be more than happy to drop some off or post them for you we can’t let a global pandemic spoil our healthy gums

05.01.2022 Due to the fact that at the moment we can only see emergency patients we have all had a little extra time on our hands. In between triaging emergency patients Dr Carmen has been making the most of it by spending time with her little girl and her dog and perfecting her pole fitness

05.01.2022 We can now offer Afterpay to help spread the financial burden of treatment. Afterpay offers simple and affordable instalment plans. The payment platform allows you to purchase in four equal instalments, due every 2 weeks. There is no additional cost to use Afterpay so long as you pay on time and all of your payments are interest-free.

05.01.2022 A fantastic resource to help explain the situation we are all facing. If you need any help please do not hesitate to call us 9405 3122. #stayathome #thistooshallpass

04.01.2022 At Wanneroo Dental Centre- Your safety is our priority. We are accredited by the Australian Dental Association for our high standards of cross infection control and all our staff have completed training in Hand Hygiene.

01.01.2022 COMPETITION TIME******** Download this Colouring sheet and send them back to us via email [email protected] or post. We will look at all the entries next week and give out some prizes

01.01.2022 Fantastic news Dentistry is without restrictions at last!! This means we can proceed with all treatment including cleans and surgical extractions. We will have enhanced cleaning procedures including asking all patients to wash their hands on arrival and departure and we will be screening all our patients for signs of feeling unwell. We will be practising social distancing our waiting room and ask politely that people attend their appointments alone wherever possible... to allow this to happen. We are continuing to contact all patients who had their appointments postponed but if you are a new patient, or know someone who would benefit from our help please contact us ASAP as appointment slots are already filling fast. We are so grateful to be in Australia at the moment and we send our love to all our patients and staff with family and friends overseas who are not currently in the great position we are in. #Thistooshallpass #levelone
