19.01.2022 I am very excited to announce that I have been able to get our club a throws coach this season. His name is Mark Williams and he will be training our kids on our Monday sessions. Starting after the school holidays. I will post some more information about Mark in the coming days but I just wanted to let everyone know.

18.01.2022 BEACH SESSION Training for Monday the 18th of January will be held at Whitfords Nodes beach. The area has recently been done up and has some pretty cool exercise equipment. The weather will be warm so we thought we would try something different and fun. Bonus the beach does not have rocks! See you all there. P.S This will be a special session as our amazing Zaryn will soon be leaving us for bigger and brighter things.

16.01.2022 An Introduction to our new Coach My name is Mark Williams and I have been coaching athletics for 25 years, 16 yrs in the UK and the last 9 years in Australia. I am a Level 2 Intermediate Club Coach and a Level 3 Performance Development Coach for Throws and Jumps (Australia Athletics Accreditation Number 6476). I am also a Level 1 Australian Strength and Conditioning Coach ( ASCA Accreditation Number 13707) I specialise in Javelin as this event was always my first love in ...Track and Field. In the UK I was a club, personal and regional throws coach. Here in Australia I have coached Little ‘A’s, Masters and a lot of personal one on one coaching. I have coached a Masters State/National javelin champion that competed at the Worlds and also coached a State and National Javelin gold medalist who I also coached (throws and long jump) to 4 States and 3 National Heptathlon Championship ‘Golds’ from u16 to u20.

08.01.2022 Registration is now OPEN for returning athletes! Here what to do: 1. Go to www.resultshq.com.au but don't login; click Registrations. 2. Type in postcode 6065, click Search and select Kingsway LAC. 3. Click Register 4. Login with your existing Results HQ login. If you've forgotten your password, reset it by using the "I've forgotten my password" link.... 5. FAMILY tab: Check all details are correct or update then click Next. 6. MEMBERS tab: for each returning athlete, you must click the edit button and select the correct club. Update their school, if required. Click Save. You may also add a new sibling by clicking on Add New and completing the details...you MUST add a clear photo of their birth certificate showing their birthdate for new athletes. You must also remove any athletes not registering this season by clicking the Remove button (red bin). Click Next 7. EXTRAS tab: DO NOT SELECT ANYTHING! Everyone is getting new bibs this year! 8. QUESTIONS tab: answer all questions. 9. SUMMARY tab: check all details. If you need to update anything, click on Edit next to that section. 10. PAYMENT tab: IF YOU HAVE A KIDSPORT VOUCHER, YOU MUST SELECT CASH AND THEN ATTEND ON REGISTRATION DAY 5TH SEPT TO PAY. Everyone else must select CREDIT CARD or PAYPAL and process the payment online. 06.01.2022 BUNNINGS SAUSAGE SIZZLE We made just over $1300 profit from our sausage sizzle today, this will be used to update and purchase some equipment for this coming season. I would like to thank your amazing committee - Nikki, Sam, Renee, Lucy and Shane, as without them our club would not have been able to hold the sizzle today as we only had ONE parent helper stand up and AJ Patel I thank you sincerely. A massive thank you to the Miller Girls Kaylena and Zaryn again you both stepped up and straight into action.
