10.01.2022 To ensure that our courts are up to standard and to conduct some remedial works on Courts 7 and 8, we will be holding two working bees to undertake this work next week on Monday 18 January and Tuesday 19 January between 10:00AM and 4:00PM. The work involved will include rolling, bagging and topping up the courts with en-tout-cas topping. Members are asked to (where possible) please donate an HOUR OF POWER of their time between 10:00AM & 4:00PM on either day so that the w...ork if not left to only a few. 09.01.2022 We are very excited to be able to let you know that Knox Council have advised that ‘NORMAL TENNIS ACTIVITIES’ can resume! This means ALL courts can now be used, singles and doubles can be played and full coaching can resume. Contact tracing and social distancing must continue to be followed: - All visitors must record their attendance using the QR code (displayed at the entrance gate and clubroom doors). A pen and paper attendance list is also available for members without a ...smart phone. EVERY SINGLE PERSON WHO ENTERS OUR VENUE MUST RECORD THEIR ATTENDANCE. This includes members and visitors, coaching students and parents. We must keep this information to use for contact tracing in the event of a COVID case being reported at our venue. - Everyone in the facility must practice physical distancing at all times by being 1.5m apart from one another. - No handshakes and please cross to opposite end of the court on opposite side of net - Members may not travel more than 25km from their usual place of residence (or their place of work if they have a permit to work in a permitted workplace). - Clubroom and toilet facilities will remain closed (toilets can be opened on demand by a committee member or coach if required) - Equipment cannot be made available for hire or shared use. - Masks must be worn in accordance with Victorian Government requirements. - Food, drink and BBQ facilities are not permitted - Hand sanitizer dispensers have been installed near the front doors for members use The legendary Daryl has been working on all of the courts today and putting up all the nets so they should be ready for play by about 3pm today. 02.01.2022 From today, masks are no longer required to be worn at the tennis club outside where you can maintain social distancing. All other requirements remain in place - QR code sign-in / attendance sheet must be used and you must sanitize your hands before and after play. The club room remains closed until we have permission from Knox Council to open it safely.
