23.01.2022 A special public memorial service and racing industry tribute to farewell the late Harvey Crossman, will be held on Friday August 7th in The Pavilion at Ascot Racecourse commencing at 10.30am, followed by refreshments. A private family funeral service will be held next Tuesday August 4th at Karrakatta Cemetery. Mr Crossman, who passed away in Hollywood Hospital on July 22nd following a brief illness, was the long-serving President of the Western Australian Racehorse Owners A...ssociation and also a former Chairman of the Australian Racehorse Owners Council and Vice-Chairman of Perth Racing. 10.01.2022 The Group 2 WAROA-Lee Steere Stakes luncheon continues to a feature on our calendar. Despite sweltering conditions, the day was memorable as always. Longstanding WAROA members Bob and Sandra Peters claimed another victory in the race with STAR EXHIBIT causing the upset! These are the 12 incentivised thoroughbreds that will be represented by their owners at our Magic Mil...lions in the Swan Valley event tomorrow at Mandoon Estate. The $75,000 bonus will be shared among the first three all-female owned horses in finishing order in next year's Magic Millions 2yo Classic. This is on top of the $250,000 in prize money already on offer in the race!
