06.01.2022 #Breaking PM says WA is the only state or territory to not reach a consensus on a plan for COVID hotspots. The model would mean rather than a closed border, ar...eas would go into lockdown when it became a COVID hotspot. Following today's National Cabinet Prime Minister Scott Morrison said seven out of the eight states and territories agreed to get to that position by December this year. "The idea of ultimately moving beyond a situation where you have hard borders, but you move to a situation where you can have a workable hot spot concept, then that is something we are going to give it our best possible go to define and to make work," he said. "States, of course, will reserve ultimately the decisions they take, but all of those who have committed to this path have agreed that we should work hard to get that in its best possible form."
