We cannot leave him on the streets. It is a welfare issue. Our cat coordinator is going to have to take him and she is managing active ringworm kittens. With his compromised immune system Arnold will likely contract it... but a fungal infection won't kill him; untreated abscesses can. Can YOU offer Arnold a safe space to recover in? Can YOU be the person to turn his life around? We believe Arnold has been an owned pet who has learnt to avoid humans as they're mean. We anticipate he will adapt to a life indoors very quickly. 16.01.2022 Sweet Aria came into care on Monday and very quickly her carer was concerned about the blood in her urine. We thought, perhaps it was a UTI. Aria was due to be spayed yesterday but instead had an ultrasound which revealed something more serious and chronic... A 3 x 2.5cm bladder stone was removed today by our wonderful team at Atwell Aubin Grove Vet. Her spay has to be postponed while her body recovers from this long-term infection. Aria will also need to be on special... urinary food as her poor bladder has been traumatised for so long. She is afraid of her pre-term babies so is having to be comforted and closely monitored to ensure they are being fed. Fortunately Janelle's mum Jasmine also gave birth yesterday and has taken on the premmie runt. At 62 grams, her experience is this babe's best chance of survival. ...
