19.01.2022 Major Crash officers are investigating a serious crash in Anketell about 3.30pm on Tuesday 15 September 2020. A blue Hyundai i30 was travelling east on Anketell Road with the intention of turning right to travel south on Kwinana Freeway. At the same time a white Holden Cruze sedan was traveling west on Anketell Road. The two vehicles collided, with the 29 year old driver of the Holden Cruze receiving serious injuries as a result of the crash.... 12.01.2022 Mandurah Detectives are investigating a serious assault that occurred in Greenfields on Tuesday, 15 September 2020. Around 7pm the victim, a 45-year-old woman, was driving her white Ford Falcon sedan on Murdoch Drive. As she turned left on Mississippi Drive, opposite Bortolo Park, a man has run up to her car and thrown socket extender (tool) through the drivers window. The socket extender has struck the victim on the right hand side of her head.... She drove a short distance further to a nearby acquaintances home. The victim was treated at the Peel Health Campus and received 18 staples in her head. The man is described as dark skinned, in his 20s, 170cm tall, stocky build, black hooded jumper and black shorts. Detectives would like anyone to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or saw any suspicious activity in Bortolo Park around the time of this incident. 11.01.2022 Mandurah Police are seeking information regarding a house fire in South Yunderup this morning, Friday 30 October 2020. About 1:45am the Department of Fire and Emergency Services notified WA Police Force of the house fire on Pelican Road and requested assistance at the scene. Mandurah Police and Pinjarra Police were deployed to the scene.... The fire caused extensive damage to the residence, and the cause of the fire is still being investigated. It is believed no person was home at the time. Anyone with information regarding this fire, or who saw or heard anything suspicious in the Pelican Road area between midnight and 2:00am, is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au. Rewards of up to $50,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.

In one particular incident, weapons were allegedly used and damage caused to a vehicle during an incident at the Kwinana Marketplace on 14 September 2020. After ongoing inquiries, three people were arrested on 25 September. ... A 21 year old woman, a 13 year old boy and a 16 year old girl have each been charged with Going Armed in Public in a Manner Likely to Cause Fear. 04.01.2022 Regional Operations Group officers have charged a man following a series of incidents last night, 15 September 2020. Officers were patrolling in the Rockingham... area following reports of three burglaries occurring between 7pm and 9:30pm (two in Shoalwater and one in Safety Bay). A Honda CR-V was stolen from the first burglary in Shoalwater. Around 9:30pm officers sighted the Honda on Rae Road, Rockingham and attempted to stop the vehicle. It will be alleged that the driver evaded police and drove recklessly through Rockingham, Hillman, East Rockingham, Kwinana Beach, Calista, Wellard and Leda before officers successfully deployed a tyre deflation device. The Honda came to a stop, however as officers stopped, the driver accelerated into the side of a police vehicle causing damage. The Honda continued for a short distance and drove into a park off Bilya Gardens, where the driver alighted from the vehicle and was taken into custody (around 9:40pm). A 40-year-old man from Parmelia has been charged with: Reckless driving exceeded the speed limit by 45 km/h or more on a length of road Two counts of No authority to drive - suspended (other than fines suspension) Breach of Bail Three counts of Aggravated Burglary and commit Three counts of Stealing Steal Motor Vehicle and Drive Recklessly Reckless driving to escape pursuit by police Driver of a vehicle failed to comply with a direction to stop (circumstance of aggravation) He will appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court today, 16 September 2020.

02.01.2022 Mandurah Detectives are continuing their investigation into a serious assault in Greenfields on Tuesday, 15 September 2020. Around 7pm, a man threw a socket extender through the window of a vehicle on Murdoch Drive near Mississippi Drive. The socket extender struck the 45-year-old woman driving a white Ford sedan. Detectives believe there was a dispute involving two vehicles, near the vicinity of 65 Murdoch Drive around the time of the incident and believe they may be able to... assist their investigation. One of these vehicles is described as a silver/grey Holden Commodore sedan, possibly a VX (early 2000s model) model. The driver of the vehicle is described as a light skinned woman, in her 30s with a medium build, short mousey/blonde hair cut short at the back and sides, similar to an undercut style. Mandurah Detectives would like to speak to the occupants of these vehicles to see if they can assist with enquiries. Police have released an image of a 2001 Holden Commodore sedan (stock image- Source Wikipedia).
