20.01.2022 Schools not back but kids might like these for a snack! Our baby potato and bacon skewers are sure to be eaten and will keep you kids full of energy for the day INGREDIENTS 16 baby potatoes (sometimes called gourmet or chat potatoes) 8 strips bacon 3cm wide / 12cm long (or long enough to wind around your potatoes)... 2 tbsp olive oil 1 tsp paprika Salt and pepper INSTRUCTIONS 1. Soak 8 x 15cm skewers in water to prevent burning. 2. Place potatoes in a pot and cover with water. Bring water to the boil and cook potatoes until they are fork tender. Approx 10 minutes. 3. Drain potatoes and allow to cool enough to handle. 4. Lay 2 potatoes side by side and wind a piece of bacon over one then under the other, secure the bacon and potatoes together with your skewer. Repeat with all the potatoes and bacon. 5. Place skewers on a baking tray, drizzle with olive oil and bake for 20 minutes, turning once at 10 minutes. 6. Sprinkle with paprika, salt and pepper.

12.01.2022 Who else wants some panfried potatoes for breakfast this weekend? Nom nom nom . INGREDIENTS 4 red potatoes, diced 2 tbsp olive oil... 2 tbsp butter 3 red onion, sliced into thin wedges 150g bacon, diced 4 eggs, fried 2 handfuls of baby spinach Cracked pepper INSTRUCTIONS Par boil diced potatoes in salted boiling water for 5 minutes, drain and allow to dry. Heat a large pan to medium high and add oil and butter. Add the potatoes, bacon and onions and cook, tossing, until becoming brown and crispy. Throw in the spinach, season well and toss through.
