21.01.2022 Some gums are just remarkable. These stood out like beacons against a smokey pale blue sky on my journey over the Brindabella's on the weekend. Worth the trip from Tumut to Canberra just to see these beauties.

10.01.2022 Wishing and praying for cooler times. Next image is inside Seaman's Hut, taken on my last trip to Kosiozko only a few weeks ago. Such a contrast to the catastrophic conditions, now facing the rest of Australia. Heartfelt thanks to all those giving their services in these dire times.

09.01.2022 Beautiful morning sunrise in Snowy Valley.

09.01.2022 It is the worst of times, and it is the best of times. I have faired better than most in my home town of Batlow, only having lost irrigation and few plants. Around me there is utter devastation, friends houses burnt to the ground and livelihoods destroyed or severely impacted. But there is a pulsing heart of hope amongst the ruins and the wounds, friends and total strangers giving of themselves, and communities coming together to bring light to these dark days. Thanking everyone, from friends to firies who fought desperately to save our beautiful town, and all those now banded together in its restoration.
