25.01.2022 Like so many others we have shut our doors for now, happy to send any wine anytime, anywhere... we have a beautiful 2017 Pinot Noir, 2019 Rose (with beautiful strawberry flavour), a wooded 2018 Chardonnay and of course our 2016 Sparking Alexandra Blanc de Noir ~ in addition let’s not forget our @fish_creek_gin ..harvest is about to begin so we will stay in touch. 11.01.2022 After almost 12 years of producing award winning wines and building our cellar door the time has come for our next adventure. Our beautiful vineyard has been sold, the new owners are excited to further develop and expand Waratah Hills and we wish them every success. We would like to thank all our regulars, many of who have stuck with us since we opened 12 years ago in our tractor shed and have become great friends. Judy and Neil are staying in the area. 08.01.2022 Farewell to Waratah Hills Over the last 12 years our small family run cellar door has hosted wonderful family celebrations every weekend. In between we have launched numerous books, hosted world music concerts, French Picnics, hosted our annual Grand Design tour lunch (for houses of architectural merit), operated a small homewares shop, hosted Sausage Making workshops with Richard Cornish, we got to know the local wildlife with Breakfast with the Birds, we launched the very f...irst Pinot infused gin with our good friend Wayne and we hosted Visit Vic’s very first pop up hotel Contained (photo credit @rayofmelbourne ) As well as many amazing events we created some award winning wine with our fabulous wine maker (Marcus Satchell) @dirtythreewines and have made so many wonderful friends, we take away many great memories of happy times at the vineyard and cellar door. We will miss the weekend tastings but who knows what is next!
