19.01.2022 The TBHA Term 4 School Program Our new Regional Coaching Director, Nathan Eglington will commence the program Week 1 of next Term. He will be assisted by Matt B...artell, Margie Coleman and our Qld reps Tara Fitzpatrick and Shania Myers. If any other schools would like to sign up to the program please contact Tbha. The Year 3 & 4 Gala Day will he held on Wednesday November 13 (Week 5). The Super 6’s format will be Half Field and using the sideboards (on turf). We will be looking for umpires for this event so if you can help out please email [email protected] The schools registered so far are:- Centaur, Condong, Cudgen, Fingal, Kingscliff, Lindisfarne, Murwillumbah, Pottsville, Mt St Pats,, St Ambrose, St Anthony’s, St Joseph’s Tweed, Uki. 19.01.2022 Incredible news to share here Waratahs. Neville Newell & Sean Read have been selected to represent AUSTRALIA at the Masters World Champs in South Africa next year!! These two men really are the package - their skills are amazing but they also possess humility & are wonderful mentors to the younger men of our club & anyone else who watches them play. Absolute masters of the game. Congratulations to you both

16.01.2022 SUPER 6’S HOCKEY! Hockey Tweed are offering a Super 6’s competition for the following age groups: School teams Kindergarten Year 2 Mondays 4.30-5.30pm... School teams Year 3 & 4 Mondays 4.30-5.30pm School teams Year 5 & 6 Mondays 5.30-6.30pm All competitions: Will run for approximately 10 weeks during the school term Welcomes beginners Involves 6 a side mixed teams Use boards on sidelines so increased player involvement Don’t require a goal-keeper Provide sticks to borrow for new-comers Are for 10 weeks (Term 3 or Term 4 or both) Give 50% discount to 2020 Hockey Tweed registered players ($25) Head to www.hockeytweed.com.au for more details and to register. If already registered for the Term 2 competition, you will be automatically transferred over to the Term 3 competition starting Monday July 27. Teams will be organised by players or schools or Hockey Tweed depending on the numbers. Please indicate if you would like to nominate with a team when registering. This decision has been made with the health interests of our members & families in mind.
