23.01.2022 Today is International Day of Yoga 2021 with for theme: Yoga for well-being. The message of Yoga in promoting both the physical and mental well-being of humanity has never been more relevant: https://www.un.org/en/observances/yoga-day... Beyond its immediate impact on physical health, the COVID-19 pandemic has also exacerbated psychological suffering and mental health problems, including depression and anxiety, as pandemic-related restrictions continue in various forms in many countries. This has highlighted the urgent need to address the mental health dimension of the pandemic, in addition to the physical health aspects. Need a map to a healthier mind, Re-centre at Waratah Private Hospital is here to help: https://waratahprivate.com.au/patients-visi/for-patients//

18.01.2022 If you are worried about a loved one when with us, first talk to your nurse or doctor. If you are still worried, ask to speak to the nurse in charge and request a 'clinical review'. At Waratah Private, we actively promote a partnership between patients, their family and carer/s, and the treating team, in recognising and escalating deterioration. We encourage patients, their family and carer/s to initially engage with their nurse or medical team, if they are concerned that 'so...mething is not right'. If they continue to be worried they can then escalate their concerns by requesting a 'clinical review' knowing that this should occur within 30 minutes. This is just one way how we partner with you, in our patient centred care, ensuring your loved one receives the best possible care. #WaratahPrivateHospital #REACH
