25.01.2022 From our friendly laser cutter. Another MRC kit ready for a customer to pick up at hotpot.

25.01.2022 We are currently doing an order of our highly detailed laser cut bodys. If your interested in a MRC or SRC now is the time to get in touch. Pictured here is the prototype 7 1/4 gauge SRC. It is our first kit available on 7 1/4. The SRC is available now in both 5 and 7 1/4 gauges.

25.01.2022 1000 page "likes" thank you for the support. Please continue to support the local Australian suppliers, without your support none of us can support your hobby. Something to think about. Todays picture is from a couple of weeks back. We are currently working through an order of 3x 4 wheel wagons ready to run for a customer.

24.01.2022 4.5kg of brass castings arrived in the post today. Now to put it all into sets and get a few orders out the door.

20.01.2022 A very busy morning on my day off from my real job. A sea of NSWGR wagon grey after a busy number of nights in the shed over the last couple of weeks. 3 new wagons for my train and 3 for a customer. So very glad this is all done before HOTPOT. Dont forget to get in touch with us if you need anything and would like us to bring it to hotpot for you. Cut off for that is Thursday night. See you all down the gong.

20.01.2022 Vale Barry Glover. Today the world said their goodbyes to Barry at his funeral. Unfortunately We couldn’t make it today. We thank Barry for his dedication to the hobby and for the range of detail parts he built that he built, we are forever in your debt. ... Here are two photos of the Japan trips from 1977 and 1987. Barry enjoyed telling me story’s of the trips over there with 5901 (and 1248 in ‘77). Barry you will be missed.

19.01.2022 We are very pleased to say that the Stones Turbo generator kit is now back into production! It has been a long drawn out process to get it back available that has included new moulds being produced. If you have been waiting for a turbo get in touch and we can send you one.

19.01.2022 Another hotpot run has been and gone. We cant thank the members of the ILS enough for the dedication they put into hosting the event, months of preparation have payed off. WELL DONE. For us it was a great success with both my locos out on the track on their own trains on Saturday and a full day of double heading Sunday with all the wagons, fantastic fun!... 18.01.2022 Its that time of year again! The June long weekend is just around the corner! As always We will be attending the annual HOT POT run at the Illawarra Live steamers. As in previous years we will have a stand on the station over the saturday. If you want any specific castings please get in touch via the email address so we can bring it for you. ... The range of brass detail parts is to big to bring everything along, avoid disapointment and pre order what your after and we will bring it for you if in stock. 17.01.2022 Another hotpot has come and gone. Our thanks goes to the hard work from the Illawarra live steamers for putting the event on again. Thanks also to our customers who picked up items while we were down in the gong. ... See you next year.

17.01.2022 The first MRC body kit has been picked up by its builder and he is very pleased!!! Soon he will be adding to it the underframe parts and the stainless steel tank to make it a functioning refrigerator van like our prototype is.

17.01.2022 A package was waiting for me when I got home from work today. 9kgs of lost wax cast brass detail items. To date this is our largest ever order out of our foundry who specializes in lost wax castings. We have had a few questions recently if we are getting out of the hobby and lost wax parts well I can tell you all, here is some good evidence that suggests our position currently. We would not be developing new rollingstock kits and new detail parts if we were giving up.... Stay tuned. See you track side.

17.01.2022 With the weather now cooling off, we are preparing for a run of our fiberglass CV and CW bodies. A few people have expressed interest in getting bodies made over the last few months. We will be making these to order. Please get in touch and we can work out numbers for our production run.

16.01.2022 A couple of photos have landed in our email inbox from a customer who has recently completed one of our LFX dogbox kits. Job well done!!!! It really shows off our recent addition to the kit of the brass door handles that have been scaled down off a full size original. Something I need to add to my own LFX. What a difference they make to the completed model.

15.01.2022 The body for the prototype of our new 4 wheel wagon kit has arrived from the laser cutter. A Couple of more items to come in and it can be assembled to check for any problems. So far it is living up to expectations and the quality is high. What could it be?????? One thing is for sure it is NSWGR.

13.01.2022 Body parts take over the mezzanine in the workshop! Hotpot will be here before you know it! Dont forget to get In touch if you want specific brass items to be brought down to the gong.

13.01.2022 My copy of Lenses South arrived in the post this afternoon and there is nothing to say but WOW. From cover to cover it is everything a fan of the NSWGR can dream of. The quality of the photos presented is off the charts and the book is a very handy reference book for Modeling no matter what scale you build in. A MUST buy!

13.01.2022 A full house tonight with 6 moulds full of resin. One of the fun parts of fiberglassing is ending up with glass everywhere while trying to fill the moulds.

13.01.2022 Cad work is progressing on a new wagon kit. What could it be? A Bogie or 4 wheeled vehicle? One thing is for sure it will be steam era NSWGR. More details as the project progresses.

11.01.2022 This years fiberglass supplies have arrived. As the weather is starting to cool off, We are taking orders for fiberglass bodys. Get in touch if your interested. As with last year we are only making kits to order. No order, no kits.

05.01.2022 A massive 8 full hours going over thousands of cards of microfilm drawings at the state archives today. More drawings were copied to complete a few on going and future projects. Locos, rollingstock, line side objects we saw it all day!

01.01.2022 A great weekend at the Illawarra Live steamers for the annual hot pot run. Thank you to all the hard working members of the club for putting on the event for us. 10 outa 10 once again. Couldnt have asked for anything more. See you all next year. 5906 hauls a lengthy goods train of about 40 wagons.
