21.01.2022 I just love it when I discover something new in the Waratahs source documents! Prior to the 1978 Yearbook, bowling records for wickets in an innings had a minimum of 6 wickets in an innings (from 1978 on it was 7). Whilst searching for what seemed like a an error in a record, which sometimes happens when the following Yearbook is compiled from previous records, I discovered a new record holder for the most wickets in a match. We have always celebrated DON PAUL for his 13-44 in the 1953 final but I can reveal that the new record belongs to BRIAN JOICE, who on the 21st and 28th February 1976, took 14-56 (6-31 and 8-25) for A-Res v Uralla.
