19.01.2022 Waratah Ski Club would like to wish all our members a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thanks to our members and their friends Waratah ski club enjoyed a good winter season. But don't forget Waratah is not just for the cold months - consider a summer visit. There is plenty to do in the mountains with bright sunny days and evenings cool enough to light the log fire. The summer accommodation rates make this a very appealing holiday option. Email Peter Nicholas with your r...equest - [email protected] See more

10.01.2022 Hello Members, By now you should have received your Subscription Notice and your invitation to the AGM. If you haven't received them yet leave a comment and we will get them to you!! This image may not be from Australia but hopefully it will get you thinking about the 2016 ski season and booking your trip to Waratah for this year.... Don't forget Easter is a great time to head to the Snowy Mountains!!

09.01.2022 Did you all see this photo - first snow of the season!

08.01.2022 Copied from the Perisher website, looks like the snow is coming just in time for the school holidays!! "The storm has arrived! Hello from Perisher, where snow and windy conditions have continued today, after a fresh 15 centimetres drop of the past 24 hrs.... Skiers and boarders made the most of the fresh tracks riding Goats Gully and Escapade, off the Perisher Express chairlift. The Village 8 Express chairlift and two magic carpets offered up access to the best terrain on Front Valley, with the Slopestyle Terrain Park also open to the public. With strong winds and fresh snow hanging around today, guests have been enjoying those wind-blown stashes. It’s been a busy day of tobogganing and snowplay action, with friends and family enjoying the top up of coverage and having plenty of fun. A top temperature of 1 degree today, with that wind blowing fresh snow across our four resort areas. Rug up and get out there to make the most of the start of the season!"

07.01.2022 Wow - great to see so much snow on Mount P this early in the season.

05.01.2022 Wow - it's looking fabulous at Perisher with all the fresh snow that has fallen

03.01.2022 First weekend of the season - cold enough for snowmaking & running the village 8 express!!

02.01.2022 "As winter draws closer, we all start dreaming of snowy days at Perisher. When the first flakes fall, don’t be the one left out in the cold. Buy early and save on a range of deals to make sure you get the best value for your snow holiday. Don’t be the friend that is missing out when the snow starts to fall..." This excerpt from a Perisher email pretty well sums it up.... The booking Letter, information and reservation form have all been sent out to members. Most of us have paid for one week in advance so I imagine the 2016 season will be in high demand.
