21.01.2022 Hi all, here is the latest road condition report. Unless conditions improve dramatically the Great Central Road is closed at least until Monday 13th Jan. Stay safe.

20.01.2022 Hi all, ROAD REPORT- The Great Central Road has had heavy rain and as a result the road is closed. It will be reassessed by Ng Shire on Monday the 6th. Be safe.

17.01.2022 Travelling on the Great Central Road Many people are traveling on the Great Central Road to get around the Nullarbor Road Block due to fires. We want you to be ...safe. Please take note of the following to ensure you have the best possible outcome. A permit is required. You can get one online and it is free. Most of the Great Central Road is unsealed Ensure you have spare tyres, you really need two through here. Low profile tyres are NOT suitable. You have a working Jack Twice as much water as you think you will need Some cash as eftpos machines do go down and then you will have to wait for it to be back up. Be aware there are many camels on the road Phone ahead for accommodation. 09.01.2022 Hi Everyone, We are following procedures similar to those in other Ng Lands stores and roadhouses. These will assist with social distancing LAWS implemented by the government; for which, we all should be following.... Working together we can reduce chance of infection. Guidelines: Only 10 people in the store at a time (this includes children). Please wash and dry hands prior to entry (products provided). Maintain a 2 meter distance away from other people while shopping or standing in the office, e.g. stand 2 big steps away from people around you. Please limit the amount of cash that is used and when possible please use your money card instead. Try to reduce shopping trips to once or twice a day only. If you cough/ sneeze you must use a tissue or sneeze/cough into your elbow (as on the poster displayed around the community). Please note that any person who insults/abuses staff will be refused entry and may be reported to the police We're trying our best to keep the community safe and appreciate your cooperation in helping us through this challenging time.
