This 4-Day Workshop provides an intensive education platform for young actors who desire to strengthen their performance skills and develop professional industry-relevant knowledge in the craft of screen acting. AGE: 13 Years - 17 Years DATES: Monday 18th Thurs 21st January 2021 TIME: 9.00am to 3.30pm daily FEE: $495 (incl. GST) *JUNIOR ON-SET SCREEN ACTING INTENSIVE* Suitable for all skill levels from beginners to advanced, this program is designed to provide young actors with the experience of working on a professional film set. 22.01.2022 ***MCSWEENEY NEWMAN CASTING - AUDITION MASTERCLASS*** We are thrilled to announce that the guys behind award-winning McSweeney Newman Casting Tom McSweeney and Dave Newman are holding a 2-day Audition Masterclass on 16th -17th January 2021. Enrol now to avoid disappointment, as this Masterclass is a MUST-DO to ready yourself for the numerous film and television productions scheduled to shoot in SEQ in 2021. ... DAY 1 - Working closely with you, Tom will take you through a step-by-step guide of the entire casting process, breaking down exactly what an audition is and the purpose it serves. The workshop modules include audition techniques and approaches, promoting and marketing yourself as an actor, the relationship between producers/directors/casting and actors, and much more. PLEASE NOTE: Participants will be provided with carefully selected scenes matched to their level of experience prior to the Masterclass. DAY 2 - Casting Guild President, Dave Newman will explore every aspect of self taping, helping you to embrace the opportunity to take control of your audition. In this class, Dave will address all self-tape concerns by analysing what a production might be after, breaking that down and simplifying it. Each student will be provided with scenes to film in a self-test environment, covering the issues of framing, lighting, the background, the sound, the pace, what order the scenes should go in and much more.
