25.01.2022 Guys a pretty IMPORTANT AND SERIOUS UPDATE about the store this morning if you can take a moment to have a read of this. Many of you have probably noticed the stores hours have been changed on Facebook and the days that we are open have been amended for the short term. I'd like you all to know why this is and what Warhammer Wollongong looks like moving forward in the near future. Well the simple answer is that lately I've had a rough run of health and require some time off du...e to this fact. After coordinating with everyone involved at Games Workshop, we've worked out a plan that can ensure the store stays open for all your hobby needs much as it always has with a few changes. Please be advised that the new and TEMPORARY store opening hours and trading days are as follows: Wednesday - 11am - 6pm Thursday - 11am - 7pm Saturday - 10am - 5pm Sunday - 10am - 5pm You can expect that these days and times will be reviewed at the END OF NOVEMBER which is also when I'm hoping to be back at work. Throughout this period while I take some time to get better, Liam (who many of you may already have met) will be on deck. Let me say that Liam is very knowledgeable, extremely capable and keen to take care of everything you need! So if you're in the area and haven't yet met Liam, head on in today and say hello while you grab your next batch of Warhammer!!! (Man there's so much cool stuff coming our way for November ) Please note games will continue as usual in store too via the usual booking methods. 21.01.2022 With Septembers Paint Klub now being wrapped up, let me say a huge well done to everyone who set a goal to get a model finished and smashed that goal! The quality of your painting gets better and better every month and it was a tough call this month in particular with over 10 entries to choose from!!! Without further delay, I've gotta say that the Black Templar Space Marine was something deserving glory for September!... You can see all these beautiful works in the flesh upon your next visit to the store for anything hobby related. It's the first day of October today which means a new Paint Klub challenge has been thrown down. Before the end of October i ask that you complete and submit: ANY CURRENT SINGLE WARHAMMER MINIATURE SUPPLIED ON A 40MM BASE OR LARGER!!!! Last month saw any single model on a 32mm base or smaller... Now let's see what you can all do with something a bit bigger

From Wednesday through to Sunday each week, Warhammer Wollongong will have a number of hobby tables dedicated to store customers which have specific, allocated times of use and we ask that these times be adhered to.... The times available are as follows: Wednesday 11:00 - 1:30 3:00 - 5:30 Thursday 10:00 - 12:30 2:00 - 4:30 5:00 - 7:30 Friday 11:00 - 1:30 3:00 - 5:30 Saturday 10:00 - 12:30 2:00 - 4:30 Sunday 10:00 - 12:30 2:00 - 4:30 If you require a table outside of these times, please call the store and have a chat to see what we can do to fit you in! Gaming Table Bookings are NOW live and you can reserve your spot with a friend via the "BOOK NOW" button on our Facebook page. Simply select a time and service that matches that time required. Once you receive a message shortly after confirming your booking, you're all set to go! So how does it work? You will NEED to book ahead of time to reserve your spot on a hobby table using Facebook or by calling the store in certain circumstances if needed. We will ask that you maintain a social distance of 1.5m. When arriving at the store, we ask that you sanitize your hands prior to taking part in activities and wear face masks if able. If you are wishing to play a game in store, you will be required to bring your own models, dice, tape and anything else you need to play. (No sharing) Only 2 hobbyists per hobby table is allowed. (One per side. This will mean no friends or partners hanging out with you while you play) To take part in activities and for your health and safety, upon arrival, your name and contact details will need to be recorded as part of NSW regulations. Please make sure you have an opponent prior to booking. 20.01.2022 Hello there fellow hobbyists! Pre-orders for the new Necron and Space Marine codexs, as well as a whole heap of new Necron and Marine models are going live in store tomorrow from 12pm! Make sure you get down to the store to place your orders and grab anything else you need to stock up for the long weekend while you take the extra day to dive into your hobby projects and games ... Games are gunna be a whole heap of fun with Necron players now having some shenanigans ahead with some of the stratagems you can expect in the new codex and shown off over on Warhammer Community... Exploding scarabs anyone!?? I woke to great news this week, that the The Sons of Behemat are stomping their way into the AOS spotlight! YESSSSS! They'll make awesome painting projects (You'll have enough time to get one painted for the monthly Paint Klub!) or if you were wanting to dive into the game of Age of Sigmar but wanted to do it with minimal models, this is certainly the army for you. Each giant is approx 500... points so putting together a sizable force is nice and easy!
